About Us

WHT is taking a radical overview to the hunger problem. In short, our primary function is to:
  1. Develop simple, easily-constructed greenhouses made largely out of recycled plastic, that are totally self-sustaining, i.e. no need for electrical, water or utility hook-up. 
  2. Grow vegetables and fruits within these greenhouses to provide a renewable, sustainable food supply in communities of need.
  3. Simplify and expand the production and installation of these greenhouses to propagate them worldwide.
Our overriding goal is to feed the world’s population on an ongoing, permanent basis.  The four parts of our motto explain our action plan:

WHT IS A LICENSED CHARITY.  WHT has official 501 (c) 3 status as a non-profit organization, so your contributions are completely tax-deductible as defined by IRS Code section 170.
